“We Love 2nd Home Childcare! From the moment we walked in to meet Denice and tour her home, we knew we wanted our kids to spend their days there. First, the set up at 2nd Home Childcare is perfect There is a large play room for the kids to crawl, run, and play indoors, which transforms to a nice classroom during the school year for the older kids to do age appropriate activities to help prepare them for Kindergarten (our kids were 100% ready for kindergarten). Secondly, the outdoor play area is amazing. The kids are outside all the time playing on the great playing equipment in the beautiful backyard. Denice is constantly changing out the toys so they never get bored with the same items, taking them on little walks, and she sent pictures to us nearly every week so we could see the kids playing with their friends or just being cute! Most importantly, my boys loved it there. They were having so much fun. They often didn't want to leave when we picked them up. Denice helped us through teething, transitioning out of a crib, potty training, pre-school, etc., by providing great advice for us as new parents, and supporting our efforts throughout the days. My boys are growing up quickly and have been in school for a couple of years now, but we still talk about Denice's, and they still want to stop by when we are in the neighborhood.”

“Denice was day care provider for both of my children. I started going to her shortly before my son was diagnosed with autism and I found her to be supportive and patient with my son. She was instrumental in helping me to find early intervention school services for him and worked with me on his schedule. My daughter also attended Denice's day care and has a diagnosis of celiac disease which requires special dietary restrictions. Denice was excellent about accommodating her diet. As a parent, especially a parent who has children with special medical needs, it is essential to have a provider who you trust and who you feel has your child's best interests at heart. Her home and yard are set up well for day care, with cleanliness and the children's safety always being a top priority. She provides a wide variety of crafts, preschool activities and outdoor time. She treated my kids like they were her own and has been a tremendous support and valued friend to me. I would highly recommend Denice to anyone looking for exceptional day care for their children.”
